Exploring emerging technologies to support children's mental health and cognitive development
For my Master’s capstone paper, I conducted in-depth research on how digital interventions; such as AI tools, game-based therapeutics, and interactive technologies. These can support the mental health and cognitive growth of children, particularly those with developmental challenges. The research highlights the importance of early intervention and the growing potential of tech-enabled strategies in educational and clinical settings.
As a companion to the research paper, I developed childpathways.com, a digital resource hub designed for parents, educators, and healthcare professionals. The website aims to promote awareness, provide accessible tools, and encourage the adoption of evidence-based, tech-driven interventions that help children regulate emotions, build social skills, and strengthen learning pathways.
